Tahiana Larissa Tacahashi is a passionate storyteller, born in Asunción in 1980, who has made it her mission to celebrate and honor the rich history of her native country, Paraguay. As a committed journalist, accomplished novelist, and skilled short story writer, Tahiana brings her input to her craft. She is a proud member of the Associated Paraguayan Writers (EPA) and the Paraguayan Writers Society (SEP), where she contributes to the vibrant literary scene in her home country. She is also the founder of the digital literary magazine Gaceta Parnasus, which has been edited in New York since January 2021. With a rich and diverse body of work, Tahiana has cemented her place as a unique voice in Paraguayan literature. Her historical novel, Sin Laureles Sobre Sus Tumbas (Intercontinental 2020), explores the final days of the campaign of a Humaita (1868) during the war of the triple alliance (1864-1870) has been recently translated and published in English on Amazon as “Fortress’ Song” 2023. She has also contributed to the anthologies: La Sombra de Nuestros Muertos: Cuentos de la Guerra Guasu (Servilibro 2021) and published Memorias y Escritos de verano (2022 Editorial Rosalba), La otra Epopeya (2022 Servilibro), and Memorias y Escritos Otoño-Invierno (2022 Arãndura). In addition, Tahiana was a key contributor to E.P.A 25 años Escribiendo Juntas (Servilibro 2022), which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Associated Paraguayan Writers. Tahiana’s talent and dedication to her craft have earned her a well-deserved place in the literary world. Her work reflects her love of storytelling and commitment to preserving the history and culture of her beloved Paraguay.
