My name is Tyran Basil. I am an immigrant from Guyana, South America, and have lived in the USA for 21 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus. I also completed the Honors College Scholar Program, where the focus was on global leadership theory and practice, emphasizing 21st-century leadership. I am currently enrolled at the United States Institute of Peace, where I am studying Peacebuilding Leadership techniques. I currently live in Deltona, which is a small city in Florida. I have been working for Sykes Enterprise, one of the largest multi-national BPO globally, for the last 7 years, where I am part of the senior leadership team for our Intuit TurboTax Group. Besides my full-time job, I am also active in my community, where I serve as a Precinct Committeeman for Volusia County Democratic Party.
