Hello and welcome to my author page. I was born in Co Tipperary in Ireland. I've always loved creating stories since childhood and have an English degree from Trinity College, Dublin. My first attempt at writing fiction was with my grandmother at the age of seven, when we pasted old cards into a scrapbook and made up tales about the people and animals. Later, I worked as a freelancer and my non-fiction was published in magazines and newspapers in Britain and Ireland. I love to write and read mystery novels and, when I'm not living in the imaginary world of my latest book, I'm meeting friends, enjoying my garden or exploring historic houses. There are plenty of those in Ireland - and many stories about family secrets too. I'm married with two sons and live in a cottage in the country with my husband and a variety of four-legged creatures.
