Shannon Kernaghan is a published author and columnist. Her works range from self-help to satire and appear in books, journals and magazines. For many years she wrote a weekly newspaper column on the irony of life and the laughter it creates. Shannon sold real estate with her husband Paul, and as a power team they marketed new construction, residential and commercial properties. Her pull towards writing for children was inspired by two factors: a desire to create stories worth sharing and the discovery of a great illustrator who showcases her growing line of picture books.
