I’ve spent my professional life as an electrical engineer working over thirty years in fiber optics, mostly in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. I’ve also spent 12 years in public office serving in Berks County as both a Police Commissioner and Township Supervisor. My wife and I have sailed boats in San Diego, the Chesapeake, Bahamas, and up and down the East Coast since 1986. I've crewed on a tall ship and taught sailing and boating safety classes to youth and adults.
