Richard Storry

Before embarking on his first novel, "The Cryptic Lines" Richard had long cherished the idea of wanting to write fiction, ever since attending a literature event with Leon Garfield and winning first prize in its short story competition. "The Cryptic Lines" has been described as 'Dan Brown meets Agatha Christie' and, as the plot weaves through its many twists and turns, we follow the main characters as they race against the clock to solve enigmatic puzzles in the many dark corners of the ancient manor house, Heston Grange. However, Richard's output now extends to a total of 14 books. Among others, his catalogue includes a 6-volume saga, "Ruritanian Rogues" as well as a collection of short mystery tales and books of stories for children. There is also a sequel to "The Cryptic Lines" entitled "The Enigma of Heston Grange". Have you tried it yet?
