Renee Scarrott can often be found lost in a good book, and that book will more likely than not be a psychological thriller. Writing a fantasy thriller was always on her bucket list, and it became a reality with Finding Paige. As a young girl, Renee’s fascination with the written word was forever changed by reading the "Flowers in the Attic" series by V.C. Andrews. The stories of dark family secrets and taboo love inspired her to explore the darker side of human nature in her own writing. Fast forward to two children later, now adults and living on their own, Renee has finally answered the call to write her own thriller. She loves crafting complex characters and wicked surprises in her stories and enjoys every minute of the writing process. When not absorbed in the latest gripping page-turner, Renee enjoys cooking, horseback riding, and watching suspenseful movies. She lives in South Dakota with her husband and their five quirky dogs.
