Rebecca Anne Nguyen is the author of WHERE WAR ENDS: A COMBAT VETERAN'S 2700-MILE JOURNEY TO HEAL — RECOVERING FROM PTSD AND MORAL INJURY THROUGH MEDITATION with her brother, veteran activist Tom Voss. As editor in chief of, Rebecca has been featured in USA Today and U.S. News & World Report. The Happy Passport blog is a 7-time Liebster Award recipient, a Premio Dardos Award nominee, and was voted a Top 10 Inspiring Female Travel Blog by Travel Hacks. Her book, 175 Ways to Travel Today (as Rebekah Voss), is a practical budget travel guide for aspiring world travelers. As a freelance writer, Rebecca been published in Mamamia Magazine, L’Ecran Fantastique, The Coffeelicious Magazine, and TruVoz Magazine. As an entertainment journalist for L’Ecran Fantastique, she has published interviews with Hugh Jackman, Julianne Moore, Laura Linney, Antonio Banderas, Peter Gallagher, Rose Byrne and Michael Rapaport. Her Medium article, “An Open Letter From Your Shittiest Friend,” was selected as Editor’s Pick 2016 by Medium staff. Rebecca began her career as an actress, producer and screenwriter (as Rebekah Voss). Her short film, Vanessa Rising, won Producer’s Pick at the 2009 Cincinnati Film Festival. The film was also named the Winter Competition Winner at the 2009 Underneath Cincinnati Fringe, a top 50 finalist at Doorpost Film Project, and an official selection of the Athens International Film Festival and Beloit International Film and Video Festival. As a ghostwriter, Rebecca has written six nonfiction books in areas like health and fitness, art collecting and travel. From 2013-14, she wrote three full-length travel guides while traveling throughout Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Nepal. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her sons, Patrick and Aden.
