Rae Louise is a British horror author born in Staffordshire, who inherited her love for dark fiction from her mother and grandmother. With a background in media makeup and special effects, she is also a big fan of onscreen horror. Rae’s first publication was a short story for the dark anthology, “Beast: A New Beginning”. Inspiration for “Mad Merlin” came from her paraplegic rabbit and his pet wheelchair. Rae's debut novel, “The Fear”, is a paranormal horror with psychological elements; influenced by her long-term battle with anxiety. She also collaborated on and edited “Diary of a Gonzo Ghost Hunter”, her first non-fiction project based on a decade of paranormal research journals. Rae has recently released her second novel, "Metas", and is currently working on her third book. In her free time, Rae enjoys hanging out with her pets, dancing and watching martial arts movies. She also paints and sells customised gothic decor from her Etsy shop.
