Miche Ferret is a plant enthusiast and the author of Indoor Plant Care 101. Her work is focused on houseplants specifically, aiming to help readers reap the physical and mental health benefits of caring for indoor plants. Miche has a lifetime's worth of experience in plant care. She has been an avid gardener since she first got the bug for it at the age of 12. Her mother was a big fan of houseplants, and as she grew up, she learned more and more about both indoor and outdoor plant care. Miche has studied plants extensively and used her research to help her care for a huge variety of plants. Aware of the growing trend for houseplants and the evidence linking both gardening and plants with improvements in physical and mental health, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others. She’s heard many people say that they’re not ‘green thumbed’ or have a history of killing every plant they’ve ever owned and is determined to help people change their narrative and embrace the joy of plants. Miche was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and growing up in the tropics of South Florida had her surrounded by plants from a young age. With her continued love of plants and gardening, she’s proud to continue her mother’s plant geekery and share it with anyone who’ll listen.
