Mark was born and raised in Toronto, and became a follower of Jesus in his late teen years. He is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Village Church a vibrant, multi-site church of 7,000 people. He is the author of The Problem of God: Answering A Skeptic's Challenges to Christianity and was listed as one of the “26 Leaders To Watch” by Outreach Magazine in 2017, and his sermons are downloaded hundreds of thousands of times per year in over 100 different countries. He resides in Vancouver, Canada with Erin and their three daughters.
