Maranda Wilson was born in Kentucky but has lived throughout the United States. In her teens she battled and defeated cancer and rebounded to graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Biology. Never one to be idle, she works full time as a leader in the food processing industry, raises three children of ages ranging from 8 to 19, runs a successful entrepreneurial venture, and co-hosts a growing YouTube board game review channel with her husband and a close family friend. She also spends whatever free time available writing, journaling, and crafting. She is a life-long fantasy fan and avid gamer who has now ventured into expressing her creativity in her debut novel, The Priestess Becoming.
