I am 25 years old and I have been writing poetry since I was an early teen. I didn't start getting serious about my work until last year, although the desire to write has always been there. Between working full time and being a student full time, I never thought I would have the opportunity to make sharing my work with the world a reality. I am so glad that I was wrong. My book Nexus is a raw reflection of much of my experiences with romantic relationships. The chapters of the poems progress in a way that reflects the different hurts and difficulties that I have faced when it comes to the intricacies of love and vulnerability and the eventual healing that comes from it all. I don't need much in life as this is more than I could ask for. I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared my thoughts with all who would listen.
