MJG Education creates textbooks for exam preparation. After 25 years (and counting) of teaching ESL (in Canada now) and EFL (in Asia) and having been an IELTS examiner, PTE-A instructor, and certified CELPIP grader, I created texts that are developed from feedback from test-takers -after over 2000 Zoom tutorials (1 hour each) for the IELTS and PTE-A exams alone! The texts point out areas of difficulty and solutions to many of the problems test-takers have; for example, how to overcome the algorithm for Describe Image on the PTE-A exam, or the appropriate Sentence Structure needed when answering one of the 7 types of IELTS essay prompts. Generally, the texts offer 'Best Practice' for all exams. TOEFL and Duolingo exam preparation will be published in 2023. Much, if not all, of the Sales will revert to creating a website that includes the newer IT and make exam preparation practice free! The Penny Pearl Series is intended to be educational and 'interesting' for younger readers and is, and will continue to be, 'safe reading'. The name MJG is an acronym of my grandfather's first name (Melvin) and my first two names (John George). Having spent many years overseas, in and around different cultures, this became an Education in itself as well.
