I'm the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of New York. I've been a lawyer in the office for 23 years. I've tried more than 30 cases, with nine acquittals. In 2014, the New York State Criminal Defense Lawyers Association awarded me the Thurgood S. Marshall Award as the state's outstanding criminal practitioner. Prior to working in the defender office, I was in private practice, handling both criminal and civil rights cases.
