Lee Wortley is a musician, writer, and many times majorly published author from Grimsby, who began writing songs as a daily past-time. In 2012, Lee developed a penchant for writing true crime non-fiction, and began a career writing a series of books on pronounced crime figures. To date, Lee has had a handful of major publications (Penguin Random House, Bonnier, Blake, Ebury Press), including a mass of work for Lenny McLean; not to mention work for McLean’s ‘Underworld Enforcing Henchmen’, Charles Bronson (Salvador), Norman ‘The Guv’nor’ Buckland, and more recently, Brian ‘The Taxman’ Cockerill on the greatly anticipated The Taxman Undisclosed: The Unheard and Unpublished Truths of an Underworld Enforcer.
