Laura Gagliardi is a naturalized American writer. She was born in Venice, Italy from a Venetian mother and a Neapolitan father. She has an older brother, who introduced her to the American culture through movies and music. She grew up in the Northern regions of Italy and moved to the United States after earning her Master Degree in American Studies at the prestigious Ca' Foscari University. For many years she taught in both Italy and the US. Here, she also earned two more master degrees; one in Psychology and one in Italian Studies and Cinema, with a specialization in literary adaptations into movies. When she is not writing novels, she is a content designer specialized in user experience and conversational writing.
