Why Did I Write This Book??? "All Roads Will Lead To God" is my first endeavor into attempting to become not just an author but also a playwright and possibly a screenwriter. Why am I doing all this? Not to sound crazy but God told me I could. Like Jonah in the Bible, for 20 years I have run from this project. It all started when one night in a hotel room in New Jersey, I awoke and the entire room seemed to be bathed in a golden hue. A voice came into my head I began to write the words to one of my most prolific songs entitled "God's Got Something For You." I worked all night until the next morning exhausted but grateful to God for the gift he bestowed upon me with this song. In the two decades since I've collected and written an album of songs that go along with the story. So believe me or not, that event changed my life and brought me to a belief in God and Jesus Christ that has turned my life into the person I am today. Biography: Kenny Simmons for the last 20 years has been one of the lead singers for America's #1 Show Band, The Infernos. His charisma and talents have been a significant contribution to the success of the band. The Infernos have earned an excellent reputation for having international appeal as well as national from Hong Kong, China, Rome, Italy and throughout The United States Of America. His style of captivating audiences has become legendary. His history in music stretches from his time with the three-time Grammy Award-winning Motown Recording Artist "The Commodores." To his starring in the traveling stage production of the musical show "Celebration" staged, produced and performed in Atlantic City, Aruba, and Puerto Rico. He adds one more title to his resume with the release of his first book & musical play, which is entitled "All Roads Will Lead To God." A Sci-Fi Christian fantasy story that asks the question. "What would you do if your doorbell rang and it was God at the door"? The book also contains a 10 Song CD soundtrack from the musical play. As a producer, songwriter and now author he along with partner and founder of the Infernos Band Mr. Bobby Wells has penned over 100 songs together and produced 28 CD albums, not just for the Infernos but for other talented artists as well. 2019 will also bring about the release of not only his book but also a 2 – Double Disc CD Album from the Infernos entitled "A Musical Odyssey." 20 songs penned by Kenny Simmons & Bobby Wells showcasing the original songs they have been written and produced for the last 20 years.
