After years of working as a freelance illustrator Keiara decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a published Author. In 2021 her first book “My Own Little Africa” was published. Keiara is not only a writer/illustrator she is the founder of Kind Hearts Story Time. The company offers many programs for young readers or as Keiara would say “tiny hearts”. The company offers story time appointments and several donation programs throughout the year. Kind hearts story time opened its first little library July 22, 2022, at a local shelter for young children and teens in New Orleans, Louisiana. As of March 2023 she has five locations. Keiara’s vision is to supply all shelters in the Louisiana area with little libraries for the kids that live there, her wish is for all the kids in any environment to have the tools they need to succeed.
