As a homeschool mom, Kathi received many many chances to read to her children. When they reached their teens and she was still browsing through Junie B. Jones and The Chronicles of Narnia simply because she loved them, she decided it was time to let her imagination loose and write down some of the ideas that had been swimming through her head. Thus, the Carly's Cave series was born. While Kathi loves crafting Carly's adventures, she has additional stories she would like to tell. Kathi would like to write for all ages and stages of childhood (even those who don't technically consider themselves children anymore). When she is not busy living in a fantasy world, Kathi enjoys all kinds of movies, roller coasters, beaches, and spending time with her family. She is a native of Utah, but her dream is to move to Florida and write in the sun beside a pool.
