Kate McAlistair has been writing since a young age. However, at the time of choice, she first considered a career in drawing and graphic arts. After a master's degree in visual arts and a diploma in cinema and audio-visual communication, she worked as a graphic designer, married and had two children. Little by little, she gives writing an increasingly preponderant place. After living six years in expatriation in Brussels, she moved with her family to Lyon in 2008. She lives today in the Loire, in the center of France. Always fascinated by her grandparents who lived in Asia between the two world wars, she decided in 2018 to draw inspiration from their memories to write a large Indian fresco, the saga of the Pink Lotus, published in France by Archipel, then in pocket and audio. Building on this success, in 2021 she begins a new historical and still romantic trilogy, which this time takes the reader to Central Asia and Russia in the 19th century.
