About Julie Carroll and SandCastle Creations, LLC Julie Carroll is a retired attorney turned children’s book author. She lives in sunny southwest Florida with her Seeing Eye dog. “My favorite pass-times include: Listening to live music with friends, Walking to the bay, Cooking, Growing things that bloom, And learning about the fascinating critters that roam this tropical stretch of Florida.” Places I Have Call Home (in reverse order): Falls Church, Virginia Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (where my son was born) Chapel Hill, Greensboro, and Durham, North Carolina.
