Jonathan Marks is a professor of politics at Ursinus College. He is the author of Let's Be Reasonable: A Conservative Case for Liberal Education and of Perfection and Disharmony in the Thought of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. He is co-editor of Principle and Prudence in Western Poltical Thought. A contributor to Commentary Magazine's blog, he has also written for, among other publications, the Wall Street Journal, The Weekly Standard, The Washington Examiner, The Jewish Review of Books, InsideHigherEd, and the Chronicle of Higher Education.
