I have been a freelance writer for over five years. Over 15 years ago, I started my business called the Butterfly Connection offering virtual assistant and writer services. Before opening my business, I spent over 20 years working as a document specialist and administrative assistant for healthcare and environmental consultants. I also have five years of experience as a computer instructor teaching Microsoft Office applications and Dragon Voice Recognition. I’ve written books as a ghostwriter and author. I have also written articles, product reviews, product guides, poetry, training manuals, and blogs. I’ve written over 20 books which are available on Amazon. They include three books on butterflies as a co-author with HowExpert.com and four books for CZYK Publishing. I have authored and self-published eight books that include two self-help books, two books of poetry, a memoir, a novel, and two children’s books. Writing poems is my favorite passion and my second passion is butterflies as you can tell by much of my work. I live in a small mountain town about 20 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up in the Midwest countryside near Stillwater, Minnesota, where my passion for butterflies began. I learned how to fly airplanes from my late husband who was a flight instructor. You can read my story of learning to fly and then marrying my flight instructor in my memoir called The Captain. I have three children who have given me 11 grandchildren. My hobbies include writing poetry, designing greeting cards and posters, sketching, painting, crocheting, and collecting butterfly items.
