An American based author, James Wraieth has spent the past two decades working as a Fugitive Recovery Agent. Now, with his children all grown and well on the way to living their own lives. James decided the time had finally come to take a chance and hopefully make a change. So, with little more than his love for the reading and writing of great stories and the encouragement of his family. James set out on the pursuit of his life long dream to become a published author. Against all odds, that dream was realized in 2017 with the creation of Wraieth Books and the release of his first novel, Heaven's Hunter ( Now titled as The Ripper). Inspired by the reception this first book received, James released a second book in June of 2018 titled Half-Breed The Last Dhampyr. An epic fantasy with a bit of a dark side that went on to spend several months in the top one hundred bestseller ranks on the Amazon Canadian sight. As well as in the top five hundred for the U.S and U.K. Solidifying him as a fantasy author. Taking inspiration from such greats as R.A Salvatore, Terry Brooks, and the immortal J.R.R. Tolkien, just to name a few. James now focused on creating the same kind of books he grew up loving to read. Hoping that someday, this dream will finally allow him to lay down his gun and badge for good. Always excited to hear from his readers or those interested in his work. I control only the ability to write down what my characters do. The how and why they do it is completely up to them.
