Frank's writing draws on a 40 year record of repeated change management and employee engagement successes, achieved quickly, frequently in situations seen as impossible, in large, international and smaller companies in diverse sectors and with varied cultures. He has impacted the very diverse environments outlined below and is described by Anthony Collins, Topflight's CEO as "A guy who challenges tier 1 executives by day and then goes off to support an Irish international team at night!" Following a corporate career in Shell, Unilever, Alvis, ABB, Fiat and CMB (HR Director with Global Responsibility for Self-Directed Teams), Frank established a culture change consultancy in 1996. He specializes in creating employee demand or 'pull' for Continuous Improvement via a bottom-up culture agreed by consensus with the senior leadership team and the leadership approach necessary to sustain it. This drives accountability top-down and bottom-up, deepens and accelerates employee engagement, systematically develops continuous improvement capability at all levels and rapidly overcomes resistance to change. For case studies see www.acceleratedimprovement.co.uk He has trained senior leaders and internal change champions in organizations such as Coca Cola, DePuy (Johnson &Johnson), Rolls Royce, Boston Scientific, Seagate Technology, Bechtel, Bacardi, GSK, GKN, CarnaudMetalbox, Vale and Lake Region. He also applies his passion for removing barriers to individual and team success to community engagement an example being sponsoring and being hands on in a broken window approach to creating safe and clean spaces in deprived urban environments. Similarly, he applies his learning and methodologies to creating a 'win-win' industrial relations culture between unions and management and to elite level sport. An example of the latter is his role assessing players for Ireland's underage international football (soccer) teams. Early in his career he was a Parliamentary Candidate in the UK for the centrist Social Democrats and as an ex-President of the Students' Union, was one of the three ex-student founders of Warwick University's Graduate Association. He is proud that, as an Irish Catholic, he enjoys honorary life membership of his University's Jewish Society. This was awarded for protecting Jewish students' freedom of speech at a time of tension in the Middle East. As a visiting lecturer, Frank provided culture change, employee engagement, leadership and coaching aspects of the Lean Enterprise MSc at both Buckingham and Cardiff Universities with a smaller role in Warwick University’s WMG. He also provides executive coaching to a number of organizations including Rolls Royce, Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Bechtel and Avgol.
