Erik C. Hansen is one of those guys who doesn’t know what to do so he tries to do it all – and sometimes even succeeds! Bottom line: he loves new challenges. A lifelong lover of sports, he studied sports medicine at Long Beach State University, where he also helped coach D1 Women’s tennis while teaching kids on the side. However, his career path shifted dramatically to video after he spent seventeen weeks documenting the famous marine life artist Wyland as he painted walls along the East Coast. Erik’s work has become more technical over the years, though his creative side continues to push him to design and build anything he can get his hands on. Currently, he works as a Sales Engineer, designing those binge-worthy streaming experiences you find yourself addicted to. He has also returned to golf as his primary sport, and recently won his first team championship at his home club of San Juan Hills. From building race cars in his garage or on TV (and even dumping one into Long Beach Harbor for the “Red Bull Flu-gtag”), his experiences in life, love, and loss have led him to start writing for the first time. Raised in Northern California, Erik now resides in Southern California with his wife Nicki and their wonderful daughter and son, Taylor and Jason.
