Stacey N Doan, PhD was born to Vietnamese refugee parents. She grew up in Louisiana and California. Dr. Doan attended Carleton College in Northfield, MN, and did her graduate work at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Trained as a developmental, cultural psychologist her research interests focuses on emotions, the social environment and their influences on health (particularly stress physiology).
