Mr. Donnell A. Davis, Sr. is the founder of Hedge America Connected i-Devices Corporation, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) startup organization founded in 2015 that designs, patents, and markets various devices that leverage the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape. He also is a U.S. Federal government employee with 20+ years contributing to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Justice (DOJ), and Department of Defense (DOD). Mr. Davis’ proven track record demonstrates the ability to examine operations, introduce innovative strategic solutions, and present opportunities that often improve efficiencies and competitive performance. Specifically, he has led nationwide economic impact studies and has coordinated with U.S. Federal government senior officials regarding the advancement of the U.S. President’s technology agenda (http://www.fedelectag.com/), which ultimately led to his filing and grant of several patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Davis has specialized experience in financial analysis, market research, business case development, value propositions, product development, and intellectual property in the U.S. Federal government and private sectors. He has a keen understanding of business investment objectives and preparing materials that: 1) supports organization’s core business; 2) illustrates economic viability for manufacturing/marketing, and 3) describes the utility for target markets. Mr. Davis’ background in the financial and business development communities, coupled with graduate-level training in business operations and the computer environment, provides him with the technical competencies required in new and highly complex emerging industries. He also completed a competitive selection leadership program designed to develop future U.S. Federal government public service leaders by providing assessment, experiential learning, and individual development opportunities. Mr. Davis currently holds six U.S. patents, 30+ registered copyrights, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and two separate Master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Information Systems (MSCIS). He is a member of multiple U.S. Federal government technology-based and innovation-related Communities of Practice (CoP).
