Derrick R. Pledger is a US Army war veteran and the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Leidos, a Fortune 500 defense company headquartered in Reston, Virginia. He served multiple tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa, in uniform and as a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor. After joining Leidos as a field service engineer in 2009, he became CIO at age forty.
