David Dean Bottrell has been a professional actor for over 35 years. Known for his quirky characterizations, he’s played many guest star and recurring roles on such shows as “Modern Family,” “NCIS,” “Mad Men,” “Justified,” “True Blood,” “Longmire,” “Rectify,” “CSI,” “Bones,” “Castle,” “Criminal Minds,” “Days of Our Live,” “iCarly,” and “Boston Legal” to name just a few. His many theatre credits include shows at the Second Stage, the Long Wharf, Joe's Pub and Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival. He’s written screenplays for many studios such as Disney Feature Animation, Paramount, MTV Films, and Fox Searchlight. He co-wrote the off-Broadway play, “Dearly Departed,” (published by Dramatist Play Service) as well the hit film adaptation, entitled “Kingdom Come.” He’s taught acting at the UCLA Professional School, Temple University and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Over the course of his career, David has had the pleasure of working with many acclaimed writers, directors and actors, including Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Candice Bergen, Craig Bierko, Julie Bowen, Delta Burke, Thomas Gibson, Whoopi Goldberg, Angie Harmon, Mark Harmon, John Heard, Anne Heche, Stephen McKinley Henderson, L.L.Cool J., David E. Kelley, Ian McKellen, Matthew Modine, Timothy Olyphant, Dolly Parton, Richard Schiff, James Spader, William Shatner, Matthew Weiner and Julie White.
