Claire Frieze was born in England and moved to Israel with her husband and children. Four of these six stories are set in Israel. They show how ordinary women, from totally different backgrounds and ethnicity, suffer from the same problems the world over. And what’s happening in the wider world can often just make their problems worse. Books can play a crucial role in our lives. They can help us through difficult times.
