Christopher Winn's first book was the bestselling I Never Knew That About England, the first in the highly successful I Never Knew That series (http://www.i-never-knew-that.com), which includes volumes on Ireland, Scotland, Wales, London and New York, the English, the Scottish and the Irish, Yorkshire, the Lake District, the River Thames and England's Country Churches. Also in the series is a Quiz Book and illustrated versions of I Never Knew That About England and I Never Knew That About London. Christopher has written two further books on London, London by Tube and Walks through Victorian London as well as The Book of Christmas, which explores the origins, myths and traditions of the world's most widely celebrated festival. A freelance writer and collector of trivia for over 20 years, Christopher has worked with many of Britain's best loved presenters including Terry Wogan and Jonathan Ross and sets quiz questions for television as well as for the Daily Mail, the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Express. He was also the Associate Producer for a TV series by ITV on Great Britain, which aired in 2014. He is married to artist Mai Osawa, who illustrates all the books in the I Never Knew That series.
