Chelsie Mills is a successful business owner and the author of Positive Affirmations for Black Women. Women of color have to fight doubly hard for success in all areas of life, and Mills has experienced this first-hand. As a Black woman who has fought hard to carve out a space for herself, she’s determined to help other women of color achieve their full potential and understand their self worth. This theme runs strongly throughout her work, which harnesses the power of positive affirmations to help women find and embrace their power. Mills has faced significant hardship in her own life, much of it coming from her place within society. Armed with a fierce determination to rise above all the limitations life has presented her with, she has launched herself into a successful career. She is passionate about helping other women of color achieve their full potential and is as dedicated to doing this as she is to running her businesses. Mills believes that true success is found when all areas of life are addressed, and she is equally as passionate about helping women in marriage and motherhood as she is about helping them launch successful careers. Mills is happily married with two children and works hard to provide them with all the opportunities she didn’t have as a child. She has built several businesses from the ground up and is determined to show her children that there are no limits on what a person can achieve, no matter how many hurdles are thrown in their way.
