Cat Miller is the author of Beginner Balance Workouts for Seniors and the much-awaited sequel that will extend her balance routines to free-standing and light weight-bearing movements. As a person on the move, Cat has made exercise a priority to ease the stress her career as an attorney and musician brought her. She thought her health was relatively good considering she could still fill her lungs enough to sing opera. Then, she fell down the stairs in her home and injured her shoulder. Cat’s self-confidence took a dive as well and she felt more afraid of doing the activities she loves like hiking and skiing. She feared she would fall and hurt herself again and cause another injury that would prevent her from leading the active life she enjoys. After working hard during her career, Cat was certainly not going to let fear stop her from having open air adventures after retirement. So, she began looking for solutions.
