The Heart of the Lightkeeper’s Daughter, Book 1 The Sea Crest Lighthouse Series: By Carolyn Zacheis, Writing under pen name of Carolyn Court I have enjoyed writing these romantic suspense novels. My target audience for The Heart of the Lightkeeper’s Daughter includes lighthouse lovers who enjoy history, travel and ancestry. I focused on America and Scotland for this book. I’m a current member of the United States Lighthouse Society as well as the Chesapeake Lights Chapter. I have seen numerous lighthouses on my travels to Asia, Europe, The Caribbean, Bermuda, Tahiti, The Galapagos Islands and America, including Alaska and Hawaii. My writing reflects my knowledge and customs of countries I’ve visited. My understanding of Scotland for, The Heart of the Lightkeeper’s Daughter, was collected during my visit to Scotland and my attendance at the Scottish Tourist Board meetings in Washington D.C. I’m a member of the Romance Writers of America, the Authors Guild, the Lake Authors, as well as the Faith, Hope and Love Writers. I’ve completed James Patterson’s Writing Master Class, which I hope accounts for the fast pace and unexpected twists and turns, that my lovable characters, must negotiate. My beliefs in The Golden Rule and Acts of Kindness, are interwoven throughout my writing. These values were evident during the time I served as President of the Kiwanis, Board Member of Sheltering Arms Homeless Shelter, and the Educational Coordinator at the Literacy Council. I was a long-standing member of the Caribbean Tourist Board in Washington D.C., which gives me insight into the problems and possible answers, related to the destruction caused by weather-related events. My wonderful husband, Paul, and I share 5 perfect children, and our empty nest is located in the beautiful State of Virginia.
