Born in Middle England in the 1960's, I initially adhered to a very orthodox religious and career path. After experiencing a tough time both financially and emotionally in the early 1990's however, I moved away from the county of my birth and bought a tiny tin miner's cottage amid the wild and remote landscape of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, England. It was here that I met the charming and enigmatic Mrs Darley, the lady who was to change my outlook on life, death and everything in between as I gradually began to fall under the spell of her magickal world. Through her guidance, I began to celebrate the pre-Christian festivals, have an understanding of the moon and her phases, appreciate the natural elements, explore certain aspects of natural healing and open myself up to the possibilities of magick. Today, I am a writer and workshop facilitator in many aspects of Pagan practice, I teach Reiki for the UK Reiki Federation, am proprietor of 'Mrs Darley's Herbal', a Pagan and herbal gift ware shop in Worcestershire (which is and also on-line at www.arcanus.co.uk/shop), and I am the author of the Mrs Darley series of Pagan books. I have currently written seven books in the 'Mrs Darley' series, with the earlier books gradually being rewritten and expanded.
