Barb Maiberger began her career as a professional contemporary dancer performing throughout the United States. Her education continued through massage therapy where she gained knowledge of reading the body for habitual patterns and helping clients find new freedom in their bodies. As her work deepened, she realized that emotions are intricately linked to the body, and went onto receive a Master of Arts in Somatic Psychology, became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, EMDR Trainer and Consultant. Her passion for EMDR is contagious. Barb’s knowledge, experience, keen sense of empathy, and strong presence have motivated thousands of therapists to incorporate somatic practices into their work.
