Hello. I'm Anushka Hayes and I came up with the idea for The Secret of Witchwell under the beech tree in the garden. It was a hot summer's day and I had intended to fall asleep in the deckchair but somehow the characters in the book just kept prodding and pestering, prompting me to write everything down on paper. As I carried out this task I could not stop myself from laughing. To add to my very odd day my dog Pickle found a crusty dried out toad among some dead leaves and laid it at my feet. The rest, as they say, is history. I sincerely hope you enjoy reading my book, I hope it brings a smile to your face. The Secret of Witchwell is the first of three books, I am currently writing the second book, so keep your eyes open for it.
