She's always writing a new book (even if it's only in her head) and spends her days in Maryland with her husband, five home-schooled children, and dogs. If there wasn't so much laundry, she'd be doing photography, painting, gardening, and traveling . . . but right now her simple pleasures are baking, reading, and going to the gym.
