Anna McKerrow is an author of poetry, fiction and nonfiction. She lives in London and is originally from the West Country, which gave her accent a subtle (yet noticeable) pirate twang as well as a love of cream teas and all things mystical. She is an eclectic witch and feminist who also loves crocheting blankets while watching episodes of Miss Marple. She owns the requisite witchy black cat. Anna is the author of the critically acclaimed pagan witchcraft YA eco-dystopian Greenworld series: CROW MOON, RED WITCH and WILD FIRE. Daughter of Light and Shadows and its sequel, Queen of Sea and Stars, are an adult fantasy romance duology about a young woman, Faye Morgan, whose life is turned upside down when she becomes romantically involved with a Faerie king. Daughter of Light and Shadows was shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists Award in the Fantasy Romance category in 2019. She is also the author of The Book of Babalon, an adult occult novel. In 2021 she published The Bird Atlas, a standalone fantasy novel for adults and children. Anna's poetry titles include Taropoetics, Regressive Poetics, Spectral Emphatic, Girls, Girls, Girls: A Reconstructive Surgery for Misogyny and The Fast Heat of Beauty. In 2022 she is releasing her first nonfiction title, a memoir about her experience of alternative healing methods entitled The Path to Healing is a Spiral: One Woman's Journey to Emotional Healing with Watkins Books.
