Don't take this the wrong way, but I want to horrify you. I want to shock you and scare you and put all sorts of sick, twisted images in your mind. I want to evoke feelings of sadness, hatred, terror, disgust and repulsion. Once in a while, I might even make you smile. But mostly, I just want to horrify you. Don't take it personally, it's just something I'm pretty good at. I have an undergraduate degree in biology from a prestigious private college. It took four years to get and for me, it's absolutely useless! So what do I do next? I enroll in law school. Years later, I obtain my Juris Doctor, pass the bar exam and am declared competent by the Character and Fitness Committee to practice law in New York State. Wonderful, isn't it? Hmmmm...did I forget to mention that I despise law? I don't know what I was thinking. All I want to do--all I've ever wanted to do--is write. So why have I wasted so many years pursuing degrees and fields I have no true interest in? Clearly, there's something wrong with my brain. Who ignores their heart's calling for so long? Well, at long last, I'm finally on the right path and having the time of my life creating memorable characters and haunting tales of mayhem. I don't plan to stick with one genre, but I'd be lying if I said that I don't have a passion for horror. I have so many thoughts and ideas brewing within my mind and I plan to spend every free moment that I can writing every greusome detail I can conjure. My books are not for everyone, mind you. But I'm always careful to warn people about the nature of my stories. Please heed those warnings...they're not to be taken lightly. I know that I'm just starting out, but I'm anxious to see where my love of writing will lead me. I had a busy year that prevented me from doing much in terms of publishing, but I do plan to make writing my first priority in the coming year. Now go. While you still can....
