Hi, my name is Abigail McKee, I grew up in a small town in Eastern, WA about two hours South of Spokane. Today I live in an apartment in a converted mansion that was built in 1895. I share my home with my two cats Benny and Fluery. We like living in the Pacific Northwest, in Western Washington. I grew up in a small town in Eastern, WA about two hours South of Spokane. We have the mountains, lakes, and the ocean here on the West side of the Cascades and lots of farmland, deserts, and more lakes on the Eastside. Washington is a beautiful place to live. Traveling outside of WA is on my bucket list though. I want to go to Tuscany, Italy; New York City to see Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and go Hawaii, to name a few places. My dream of going to Hawaii is coming true in a few weeks, I am going to Maui. I will snorkel with sea turtles and enjoy beautiful sunsets. A much needed vacation and inspiration for some new books. I have spent my time since the Pandemic working as an office manager for a plumbing company. I am also a very busy Nana of a preteen grandson. There have been band concerts; he plays the tuba, the trombone and electric guitar. He's been playing soccer sine he was four so there have been many Saturday morning soccer games. He just finished basketball and is now starting LaCrosse. He comes to vist me quite often where we spend our time cooking, he is quite the chef and playing games. He always wins. I have also been enjoying my other passion quilting and crocheting. Which I get from my grandmother. I also made Christmas angels out of some of the doilies she made to give as gifts to friends and family memembers. My life is busy but full. I enjoy writing children's books and have been a hiatus due to the Pandemic and other life circumstances. My creative mind is ready to get back to it. I am really proud of my Cricket and Milo books they were fun to write. I wrote another book about a little hedgehog, I look forward to having illustrated and published. My up coming vacation will be inspiring, just as my daughter's trip to London was for my 'Cricket and Milo Visit London." Holiday books are also fun to write. Just as my 'Margery the Cute Little Witch Finds Boo,' my inspiration for this book came from a napkin I got at a children's Halloween party with my grandson. It was a bright orange napkin with the cutest little witch on it. Margery gets her name from my grandmother who was very special to me and I miss so much. I truly enjoy writing and look forward to bringing all of my book ideas to life setting pen to paper. In addition to these books I also co-authored three romance novels with a very dear childhood friend, Lorri Moulton. They are all part of The Magic of Burrows Bay series.
