This was a sweet romantic story, I really enjoyed the narrator of Theo and thought he brought him to life. I did not enjoy the narrator for Laney, she felt very robotic and forced, did not possess what I felt the characteristics of Laney. I did skim through her chapters quicker.

When the reader's voices are so idiosyncratic, they should suit the characters they are meant to represent. In this case, it just doesn't work.
