About this listen

Nadiah has the Sight: the ability to see into the future. But the one thing she can't see is how she's ever going to be free of the blood bond her parents forced her into when she was only six. Her fiancé is an evil bastard who delights in torturing her, and her only way out of a loveless marriage is for a Kindred warrior to challenge the hated bond. But Nadiah has no warrior to challenge for her, she just has Rast.

Adam Rast doesn't know why he feels so protective and possessive of Nadiah, only that he's willing to kill or die to protect her. When the chance to set her free arises, he takes it without hesitation, even though his lack of Kindred blood could mean his defeat or even his death. But Rast has a secret, one even he doesn't know he possesses. When he undertakes Nadiah's quest, the truth comes out in a strange and provocative way.

Can Nadiah and Rast live through their ordeal? Will the truth about Rast set them free - or kill them?

Excellent Series

What I love about this series is the intertwining of the stories of the various characters from the previous and the next in the series! It makes them all come across as a community and the characters grow as the story progresses!
This one is the story of Nadia, Sylvan's cousin, and Adam Rast, a detective we met in previous books looking for missing girls. They meet and Rast feels something for her and then a blood bonded fiance tries to hurt her - which enrages Rast. This is their story but it also starts Merrick and Elise off and continues with the previous brides.

I loved the book again - this time via audio and highly recommend it to all

Great

These kindred books are fantastic. I never give away the story but I will say that the books continue from one to the next. All charters from the previous books continue to the next book and you still read about their lives as you start with the new characters. Love this series and everyone in them. You won’t regret starting this kindred series. I promise.
