The sexual charge many read between the lines in Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre is has been made much more intimate, electrifying, satisfying, and oh, so, quite un-Victorian. There is more to the tale and couplings than the will-they-or-won’t-they (they will!) of Jane and Mr. Rochester. Heather Wilds, veteran of the London stage, as well as television and film, ranges from innocence to cruelty from yearning to culmination as she performs this erotic mashup of a literary classic many have read and the story of sexual appetites fulfilled most of them imagined.

great idea not so great execution
Jane Eyre is one of my favourites amongst the classics, so it was a no brainer to give the spicy version a go. I enjoyed the story as it was very similar to the original one, but it isn't very spicy at all. The steamy parts are far in between, quite predictable and felt half written. The author had to make a few changes to the core of the main story like Jane's age at the beginning of the story, so that the spicy part wouldn't be cre£py.
Unfortunately, the main femin/st message from the main story isn't as strong here, even as she finds a away to explore her steamy side without guilt.
Great narration.

It didn't amaze me
Of course the story is great, it's Jane Eyre. I hadn't read the book for years so I decided to give it a chance with this new addition, it could be interesting. I listened to it in record time for me, I forgot how much I love this story. The erotic part of it was good, almost average, and predictable. Basically in every scene when Jane and Mr. Rochester are together they would have some kind of amorous encounter. I wish the author could have at least expanded the weeks when they were engaged some more, but no. So, all in all, I expected more eroticism but enjoyed hearing this story again.
