Good story but regular narration performance
I found Baston to be an entraining scifi romance with a plot focusing in the slavery theme. Action packed adventure story, sexy characters and smoking hot sex scenes awaits you in this fast-paced novella.
The only drawback in the audiobook is that the narrator doesn't show emotion while reading the book. It feels like you're hearing a robot performing the tale.

Enjoyable read
I’m not one for short stories, but I thought I’d give this series a go. I found it really enjoyable and fast paced. There was action and sexy times and enough description that you feel you know where you are. The story was good it was the narration that was the problem.
I found Erin Coker was able to intone well and I was able to distinguish between the characters but she narrated so fast that there didn’t seem to be any punctuation or paragraphs. If she was able to slow down, the performance would be a hundred times better. Having said that she’s not the worst I’ve heard and I did manage to listen to all 3 books which I thoroughly enjoyed!!
