These events are my recollection of my time during a physically abusive relationship, and due to the nature of the theme, there are some graphic descriptions of what I went through. This book is for people who are currently in, or have been in, an abusive relationship. It can also be a useful tool for people who have a loved one who are in an abusive relationship, as I feel it can help them understand the situation more and therefore be a better source of support.

"You’re just too sensitive!" "That didn’t happen. You must be imagining things." "I don’t remember saying anything like that. You must have misunderstood me." Do these phrases seem familiar?
