WarMage Redux

Raven is graduating from Fowler Academy with her fierce red dragon Leander by her side. She is taking on the responsibilities of a WarMage—just like her late mother—and has joined the kingdom's army corps and their fleet of dragons. Time to get ready for whatever the world throws at Raven and her homeland. Something is affecting the dragons, wild and tame. A few have turned up crazed, spitting fire and ice, right before they die. Did the creepy crawly monsters that once plagued the kingdom leave one last poisonous gift behind?

A battle has ended, but the War has just begun. Raven and Dr. Welby think they have the fungus destroyed and the dragons cured, but more are showing up sick or dying. What did they miss? They had to have missed something in the caves . . . but what? Even the dragons at William's ranch are infected and going downhill. He finally seeks Raven's help before it's too late. It gets worse. Leander's mother is sick too.

How can Raven and Leander stop a war with a distant kingdom? First try to make nice. When that fails, bring along your fire-breathing dragon. Raven is still serving in her kingdom's special forces. Her latest mission is a special request to restore peace and return the prisoners of Malenspire. The island kingdom is far away and Raven has time to think about telling the king she was responsible for his son's death.

The king knows Raven killed his son and he doesn't want revenge. He wants help finding an heir to replace him. What kind of twisted plot is this? If she doesn't help him, Raven can't complete her most important mission. But there's something else going on here. The Malendesh army are using the dangerous, magical ore to hide and abuse their sea serpents during war exercises. The foreign military's up to something dark. Has their king noticed?

Raven Alby and the STAR force have an important decision to make. Will they help the citizens of Malendesh and their king prevent a military overthrow? Or will they return home and prepare for war? It's an easy choice. Raven and the red dragon, Leander run toward a fight—not away. They stand with Malendesh. The island kingdom of Malenspire has agreed to the exchange of foreign guests. It's just her luck that Raven and Leander are assigned to chaperone the Malendesh newcomer—who turns out to not be so new.

Welcome to the Threndoren wedding. Raven is there with Chui by her side, along with all of Brighton. But who is that with William Moss? No time to figure it out. The dragons grow restless, and the dogs start barking—An ominous sign. The "I do's" are broken up by giant frogs crashing the ceremony and attacking the guests. Murphy is ready with her axe, fighting them off in her wedding dress. Is there enough of the shrinking potion to take care of the rest? Raven needs to find a solution before the next creature to morph is something more deadly. She seeks out the alchemists who may have a plan.
