The Wretched Series

Early fall. A top-secret research project goes terribly wrong. A new species, the Reapers, are unleashed onto the unsuspecting citizens of Philadelphia and soon the rest of the country. The Reapers are stronger, faster, and have no mercy for any humans who have the misfortune of crossing their paths. Philadelphia cop Malcolm Foster quickly discovers a routine disturbance call is anything but ordinary. Foster soon finds himself scrambling to survive, gather together a rag-tag group of survivors, and get them out of the city.

In the first 24 hours, the Reapers have already begun to shift the balance of power in their favor. Inside their own ranks, one creature rises to become their undisputed leader. Hiding in the rural suburbs of Philadelphia, Malcolm Foster has gathered "The Wretched", a rag-tag group of survivors, and gone underground in hopes of avoiding the Reaper attacks. But it doesn't take long for Foster to realize the Reapers have sprung a new plan: A targeted culling of those who protect Americans.

After nearly being wiped out, the remnants of the U.S. Military launch a daring mission against the Reapers. If it works, it could destroy millions of Reapers in an instant. But if it fails, then the Reapers dominance could grow even more. A new group arises from the shadows, one which operates under a simple mantra: Join us or die. Meanwhile, a single Reaper commander pursues a personal vendetta as he hunts former police officer Malcolm Foster.

The battle for survival continues...The military has failed to stop the Reapers and the monsters have gained a stronghold throughout the United States. Battered and bloodied, the armed forces refuse to surrender. Trapped in a small town, former police officer Malcolm Foster and his rag-tag group of survivors hold the key to humanity’s best chance of success: They know the Reapers’ fatal weakness.
